Veterinary Research Institute, Lahore is a premier research organization in the country administratively controlled by Government of the Punjab. The institute was established in 1963 on up-gradation from the Bureau of Disease Investigation and Biological Production, Lahore. It is playing a “Role of Savior” towards prevention and control of diseases by producing quality biologics for poultry and livestock sector.
The institute undertakes research on prevailing problems of livestock and poultry in province and contributes significantly towards prevention, diagnosis and control of prevailing and newly emerging diseases.
