Over the years, the institue was able to achieve the below mentioned milestones:
- ISO 9001:2015 certification of organization and 17025 accredition of Quality control Laboratories.
- Eradication of Rinderpest disease from Pakistan.
- Control of different diseases in poultry like recent NDV out breaks, Avian Influenza and Hydro pericardium syndrome etc.
- Establishment of molecular biology labs, Central reference Laboratory (CRL) and up-gradation of Quality control Laboratory (QCL).
- Up-gradation and renovation of the infrastructure of different laboratories.
- Up-gradation of freeze drying facilities.
- Automation of filling, sealing, labelling and printing of vaccine bottles/ vials.
- Procurement and installation of bio fermenter.
- Amelioration of machinery and equipment.
- Initiation and enhancement in production of PPR vaccine.
- Institute provides the training to the in-service Veterinarian, Para-veterinary staff, post-graduate students and graduate internees etc. for their capacity building.
